Using OpenOffice WebDav with OGo/Zidestore
To use OpenOffice with OGo/Zidestore, you will have to use the OpenOffice Open/Save dialogs, and not the native system ones (at least on Windows). To change that, you will need to change an option:
Select the Tools menu, then Options->General. Tick the box Use OpenOffice dialogs.
In OpenOffice, you then go File then Open, and in the filename you type in the URL for your OGo server, and your username.
So, for example, type http://ogo.mydomain.com/so/username
then a pop-up will appear asking for your OGo username and password. After that, you will see a list of folders. Double click on the Projects folder.
Currently, you will see folders with numbers (the project numbers) instead of names. There is bug 791 logged against that.
Otherwise, just select your folder, and choose your document to open. Saving is the reverse, and I'll add to this when I've done it some more.

As mentioned in the bug, the numbers are actually the project codes and can be changed to anything you like (as long as it is unique).
