Part A: Introduction
1. Mission: To create, as a community, the leading open source groupware server to integrate with the leading open source office suite products and all the leading groupware clients running across all major platforms, and to provide access to all functionality and data through open XML-based interfaces and APIs. 2. What OGo does: OGo is something between a mixture of Exchange and SharePoint portal server. It focuses on groupware and collaboration instead of messaging, e.g. OGo will not provide its own mail server but rather use existing ones like Cyrus (see the mission on that). [more info]
